Subtly sweet Toddy® Lavender Tea Bread is the perfect treat for afternoon tea - or anytime you want a special break.
For icing:
Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan. In a small saucepan, combine milk, cold brew tea concentrate, and lavender. Heat to a simmer, then cool.
In a medium bowl, whisk butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in egg until the mixture is fluffy, then add cold brew tea concentrate mixture. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt, and stir into wet ingredients. Pour mixture into prepared pan.
Bake for 50-60 minutes in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
While the bread is cooling, whisk powdered sugar and milk until you reach desired consistency. Remove bread from pan onto a plate, drizzle with icing, and sprinkle with lavender. Enjoy!
